Benjamin Franklin was an ingenious inventor, George Washington was a renowned leader and statesman, and Jefferson penned the Declaration of Independence - but what kind of music did they like? Did they play? Compose? Dance? Join The Publick Pleasure as we explore the role of, and personal tastes in, music in the lives of Franklin, Washington and Jefferson. From fashionable salons and Parisian concerts, to Philadelphia ballrooms and the rowdy American stage, each of these founding fathers had a unique musical perspective - one can tell a lot about a person from their "playlist!". Music of Brillon, Oswald, and others.

With: Edmond Chan, violin; Lev DePaolo, voice; Eve Miller, cello; John Walthausen, harpsichord; Steven Zohn, flute
